Gobernador Rosselló Nevares firma medida para evitar fraude al Medicaid y asegurar fondos federales de Salud

(23 de julio de 2018 – La Fortaleza, San Juan) El gobernador Ricardo Rosselló Nevares firmó el proyecto de la Cámara 1627 que establece la Ley de Reclamaciones Fraudulentas a los Programas, Contratos y Servicios del Gobierno de Puerto Rico y crea un mecanismo de recobro civil en aquellos casos donde se identifique que hubo reclamaciones falsas al Gobierno de Puerto Rico.

La ley —que proviene de la Ley federal de Reclamos Falsos— establece que las reclamaciones serán atendidas por la Unidad de Control de Fraude al Medicaid en el Departamento de Justicia.
