Gobernador Rosselló anuncia proponentes cualificados para APP dirigida a establecer Centro de Capacitación en Seguridad Pública

(Martes, 16 de abril de 2019 – La Fortaleza)– El gobernador de Puerto Rico, Ricardo Rosselló Nevares junto al director ejecutivo de la Autoridad para las Alianzas Público-Privadas, Omar J. Marrero y el secretario del Departamento de Corrección y Rehabilitación (DCR), Erik Rolón, anunciaron hoy los tres proponentes que reúnen los requisitos para pasar a la próxima fase de licitación del proyecto, que busca establecer un Centro de Capacitación en Seguridad Pública mediante el mecanismo de alianza público-privada (APP).

Gobernador Rosselló Nevares supervisa de primera mano terminal de lanchas de ATM en Ceiba

(15 de abril de 2019 – Ceiba) El gobernador Ricardo Rosselló Nevares visitó hoy las instalaciones del recién revitalizado terminal de lanchas de Ceiba, para supervisar de primera mano la experiencia de los pasajeros desde que llegan al terminal hasta que proceden al abordaje de su embarcación para viajar a las islas municipio de Vieques y Culebra.

De cara a la Semana Santa y mediante el esfuerzo de una alianza interagencial, se han realizado una serie de mejoras que garantizan una mejor y más eficiente experiencia para los pasajeros.

Gobernador Rossellό anuncia desembolso de más de $1.3 millones en reintegros

(14 de abril de 2019, La Fortaleza- San Juan, Puerto Rico) El gobernador de Puerto Rico, Ricardo Rosselló Nevares, informó que su administración ha desembolsado más de $1.3 millones en reintegros correspondientes a la contribución sobre ingresos de individuos de pasados años fiscales, ciclo contributivo 2018 y por crédito senior.

Durante este proceso contributivo 2018, Hacienda ha recibido sobre 700 mil planillas, lo que representa un aumento de 98 mil planillas comparado con la misma fecha del pasado año. De igual, hemos desembolsado sobre $160 millones de reintegros.

Gobernador Rosselló Nevares firma Ley de Política Pública Energética

(11 de abril de 2019 – La Fortaleza, San Juan) El gobernador Ricardo Rosselló Nevares firmó hoy la ley que establecerá la política pública energética de Puerto Rico y la cual requiere la eliminación progresiva del uso de combustibles fósiles como fuente de generación de energía.

Con este fin, se establece una nueva cartera de energía renovable: eliminar 20 por ciento de combustibles fósiles al 2022; 40 por ciento al 2025; 60 por ciento al 2040; y un 100 por ciento para el año 2050.

Gobernador Rosselló Nevares anuncia grupos de trabajo para su propuesta de regiones

(11 de abril de 2019 – La Fortaleza, San Juan) Tras su reunión bisemanal con varios alcaldes, el gobernador Ricardo Rosselló Nevares anunció la conformación de cuatro grupos de trabajo para evaluar y estudiar con detenimiento su propuesta de reestructuración de municipios en regiones o condados.

Estos grupos —que buscarán la eficiencia fiscal y de servicios— estudiarán varios asuntos de política pública que deben ser evaluados con detenimiento para poder ayudar a la salud fiscal de los municipios.

Primera dama Beatriz Rosselló recibe Premio de Innovación Social

(10 de abril de 2019 – San Juan) La primera dama Beatriz Isabel Rosselló fue galardonada hoy con el primer Premio de Innovación Social que otorga la Junta de Directores del Ecoexploratorio: Museo de Ciencias de Puerto Rico.

La distinción se llevó a cabo durante los actos de apertura de Expo Planeta Digital 2019 que tiene lugar hasta el próximo domingo 14 de abril en el Atrio Central de Plaza las Américas.

(9 de abril de 2019 - La Fortaleza, San Juan) El gobernador Ricardo Rosselló Nevares, anunció que la Oficina del Principal Oficial de Finanzas Públicas de Puerto Rico hizo público el borrador del presupuesto recomendado del Fondo General para el nuevo año fiscal (2019-2020) a través del portal cibernético de la Oficina de Gerencia y Presupuesto (OGP) y de la Autoridad de Asesoría Financiera y Agencia Fiscal (AAFAF).

Gobernador Rosselló Nevares anuncia legislación para autorizar apuestas en deportes y juegos electrónicos

(1 de abril de 2019 – La Fortaleza, San Juan) El gobernador Ricardo Rosselló Nevares anunció legislación dirigida a autorizar, por primera vez en Puerto Rico, las apuestas en eventos deportivos y juegos electrónicos, lo que incluye las apuestas por Internet que se originen en la Isla.

La legislación busca autorizar este tipo de apuestas, que han tenido un auge en tiempos recientes y que podrían generar sobre $3 mil millones anuales para el año 2023 en los Estados Unidos.

San Juan, Puerto Rico – The Government of Puerto Rico and the Humane Society of the United States are launching the fourth phase of the historic Spayathon for Puerto Rico, a no-cost, high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter/vaccine initiative that has so far impacted over 25,000 dogs and cats in Puerto Rico-all free to the public.

The Junta Examinadora de Médicos Veterinarios de Puerto Rico and the Colegio de Médicos Veterinarios de Puerto Rico will also be participating in Round 4.
