Gobernador Rosselló Nevares anuncia restablecimiento del Fondo de Servicio Universal

22.2.2019

(22 de febrero de 2019 – Washington, DC) El gobernador Ricardo Rosselló Nevares informó el restablecimiento del Fondo de Servicio Universal local en beneficio de 413,516 personas elegibles en Puerto Rico para recibir este subsidio de telefonía, el cual totaliza $12 millones en subsidios.

Dicho subsidio se concede a aquellas personas de bajos ingresos que cualifiquen para algunas de las ayudas que se ofrecen bajo los programas del Departamento de la Familia, participantes de comedores escolares y Sección 8, entre otros.
