Gobernador Rosselló Nevares anuncia creación de cooperativa de trabajadores confinados en institución de máxima seguridad de Guayama

(17 de julio de 2018) El gobernador Ricardo Rosselló Nevares anunció la incorporación de la primera cooperativa de confinados de custodia máxima en la Isla, luego de que los confinados de la Cooperativa Jesucristo Es El Señor (JEES) de la Institución Guayama 1000 celebraron su primera asamblea como cooperativistas.

JEES Coop —séptima cooperativa de confinados que se incorpora en la Isla—ofrecerá una oportunidad de trabajo a los confinados, quienes ofrecerán servicios de impresión de camisetas, confección de rótulos, ebanistería, artesanías y costura.
