Governor Rosselló announces request for qualifications for energy storage P3 project

(June 22, 2018 – Washington, DC) Governor of Puerto Rico Ricardo Rosselló today announced along with the executive director of the Puerto Rico Public-Private Partnerships Authority (P3 Authority), Omar J. Marrero, the issuance of a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for a utility scale energy storage project.

This project consists in the deployment of a utility-scale storage systems at various critical substation locations of the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (PREPA).

Gobernador Rosselló Nevares anuncia inicio del proceso de solicitud de cualificaciones para proyectos P3 de almacenamiento de energía

(22 de junio de 2018 – Washington, DC) El gobernador Ricardo Rosselló Nevares anunció hoy junto al director ejecutivo de la Autoridad de Alianzas Público-Privadas de Puerto Rico (AAPP), Omar J. Marrero, la emisión de una Solicitud de Cualificaciones (RFQ, por sus siglas en inglés) para un proyecto de servicio público de almacenamiento de energía a gran escala.

El proyecto consiste en el despliegue de sistemas de almacenamiento de energía a escala en varias ubicaciones de subestaciones críticas de la Autoridad de Energía Eléctrica (AEE).
