Gobernador Rosselló Nevares anuncia sistema para el Manejo de Información de Pacientes de Medicaid en Puerto Rico

(3 de abril de 2018 – La Fortaleza, San Juan) El gobernador Ricardo Rosselló Nevares anunció hoy la implantación del primer Sistema para el Manejo de Información de Pacientes de Medicaid (MMIS, por sus siglas en inglés), lo que representa un gran logro para el cumplimiento de Puerto Rico con los requerimientos federales.

El MMIS automatiza varios métodos que en la actualidad son manuales. Esto permitirá que se lleven a cabo procesos más agiles, para así evitar el malgasto de fondos en el área de salud.
