Gobernador Rosselló Nevares respaldará enmiendas a la Ley 246 sobre pruebas de ADN post sentencia en el ámbito criminal

(15 de enero de 2018 – La Fortaleza, San Juan) El gobernador Ricardo Rosselló Nevares expresó su respaldo a no limitar el término que un convicto puede solicitar el amparo de la Ley 246-2015 conocida como “Ley de Análisis de ADN Post Sentencia”.

Esta ley dispone un mecanismo jurídico para que aquellos convictos por ciertos delitos puedan solicitar que el tribunal ordene el análisis científico de ADN en aquellas piezas de evidencia que no fueron analizadas en el juicio en su contra o en evidencia nueva que haya surgido luego de la convicción.
