Gobernador Rosselló Nevares firma orden ejecutiva para conceder el próximo Jueves Santo como día feriado

(10 de abril de 2019 – La Fortaleza, San Juan) El gobernador Ricardo Rosselló Nevares firmó una orden ejecutiva para conceder el jueves 18 de abril de este año como día feriado sin cargo a licencia alguna para las todas las agencias de la Rama Ejecutiva.

El decreto se firma en virtud de las facultades delegadas por el Código Político de Puerto Rico y la Ley de Cumplimiento con el Plan Fiscal.

Gobernador Ricardo Rosselló Nevares anuncia envío de $51 millones en cuarta ronda de reintegros

(7 de abril de 2019- La Fortaleza, San Juan) - El gobernador Ricardo Rosselló Nevares, anunció el envío de $51 millones en reintegros como parte del compromiso de esta administración y del secretario de Departamento de Hacienda, Raúl Maldonado Gautier, de pagar éstos antes del 31 de mayo de 2019 para aquellos que hayan radicado sus planillas antes del pasado 31 de marzo.

Gobernador Ricardo Rosselló Nevares anuncia envío de nómina de $6 millones a otro grupo de patronos que retuvo a sus empleados luego de los huracanes Irma y María

(6 de abril de 2019) – El gobernador Ricardo Rosselló Nevares anunció el envío de una nueva nómina del Beneficio por Retención de Empleados (ERTC por sus siglas en inglés), a otros 116 patronos que retuvieron a sus empleados luego de los huracanes Irma y María.

“En esta ocasión, estamos enviando créditos por $6,104,296 a 116 patronos adicionales que apostaron a su equipo de trabajo luego del impacto de los huracanes Irma y María. Esto es parte del compromiso de aportar a la recuperación del sector económico de Puerto Rico”, sostuvo el primer ejecutivo.

Cámara de Comercio de las Minorías de los Estados Unidos reconoce a la primera dama como Mujer Humanitaria Global de 2019

(29 de marzo de 2019 – Miami) La primera dama Beatriz Rosselló fue reconocida hoy como la Mujer Humanitaria Global del 2019 por la Cámara de Comercio de las Minorías de los Estados Unidos (USMCC, por sus siglas en inglés), por su labor humanitaria en Puerto Rico durante el proceso de reconstrucción tras el paso de los huracanes Irma y María.

El reconocimiento se llevó a cabo durante la vigésima Cumbre Mundial de Liderazgo de las Mujeres en Minoría de la USMCC, durante la cual Beatriz Rosselló ofreció un mensaje como una de las oradoras principales.

Continúa a buen ritmo el pago de reintegros de la Planilla de Contribución sobre Ingresos de Individuos de 2018

(28 de marzo de 2019 – Washington, DC) El gobernador Ricardo Rosselló Nevares anunció el envío de la tercera nómina de reintegros correspondientes a la Planilla de Contribución sobre Ingresos de Individuos para el 2018, por un total de $15 millones que beneficiarán a 19 mil ciudadanos.

El total enviado también incluye pagos por el crédito para personas de 65 años o más y para pensionados de bajos recursos.

Governor Rosselló signs executive order to prohibit conversion or reparative therapies

(March 27, 2019 – La Fortaleza, San Juan) Today, Governor of Puerto Rico
Ricardo Rosselló signed an executive order to prohibit conversion or
reparative therapies to change the sexual orientation or gender identity of
minors.

The chief executive recalled the commitment included in his Government Plan
to prohibit such therapies, due to their of lack scientific basis and,
additionally, for the unnecessary harm and suffering caused to the lesbian,
gay, bisexual, transgender, and transsexual (LGBTT) community.

Gobernador Rosselló Nevares propone modelo de condados en Puerto Rico para eficiencia fiscal y de servicios

(26 de marzo de 2019 – Gurabo) El gobernador Ricardo Rosselló Nevares presentó la propuesta de un nuevo modelo de gobierno que incluiría un sistema de condados como parte de una estructura autónoma de gestión de servicios al Pueblo a nivel de todo Puerto Rico.

El primer ejecutivo destacó que la propuesta no busca consolidar municipios, sino la consolidación de servicios que proveen los ayuntamientos y el Gobierno central.

New Law Will Transform Island’s Economy, Putting Renewable Energy at its Central Pillar

San Juan, Puerto Rico – Puerto Rico Governor Ricardo Rosselló will sign a bill to radically transform the island’s economy with renewable energy as the central pillar. Senate Bill 1121 (PS 1121), the Puerto Rico Energy Public Policy Act, will set the island on a path to 100% renewable energy by 2050. The bill makes the island a leader in the adoption of clean energy technology that will help Puerto Rico better withstand future hurricanes and improve the quality of life for all Puerto Ricans.

Gobernador anuncia el envío de la segunda ronda de reintegros de las planillas 2018

El desembolso de los reintegros aumenta a $90 millones aproximadamente.

San Juan- 23 de marzo de 2019 – El Departamento de Hacienda se encuentra en el procesamiento de la segunda ronda de $40 millones en reintegros correspondientes a la Planilla de Contribución sobre Ingresos de Individuos para el 2018, Beneficio por Retención de Empleados (ERTC, en inglés) y el crédito senior, anunció el gobernador Ricardo Rosselló Nevares.

Departamento de Justicia radica cargos por crimen organizado contra ganga que se dedicaba a robar dinero de máquinas de cajeros automáticos

(Caguas) – La Secretaria de Justicia, Wanda Vázquez Garced, la Jefa de Fiscales del Departamento de Justicia, Olga Castellón Miranda, el Secretario del Departamento de Seguridad Pública, Héctor M. Pesquera, y el Comisionado del Negociado de la Policía de Puerto Rico, Henry Escalera, notificaron que esta semana se radicaron 267 cargos, incluyendo de crimen organizado, contra ganga de 12 individuos que se dedicaban a cometer escalamientos y apropiaciones ilegales de cajeros automáticos, conocidos como ATM.
