Gobernador y oficialidad de seguridad pública se reúnen con alcalde de Fajardo

(4 de mayo de 2019- Fajardo, Puerto Rico) El gobernador Ricardo Rosselló Nevares se reunió al mediodía de hoy con el alcalde de Fajardo, Aníbal Meléndez, ante las situaciones de seguridad que han surgido recientemente en ese municipio.

En la reunión estuvieron presentes el secretario del Departamento de Seguridad Pública (DSP), Elmer Román, el comisionado del Negociado de la Policía de Puerto Rico, Henry Escalera, el secretario de Estdo, Luis G. Rivera Marín, el asesor del Gobernador en Asuntos Municipales, Omar Negrón, el secretario de Asuntos Públicos, Anthony Maceira y la vicealcaldesa de Fajardo, Glenis Otero.

“Queremos asegurarnos de que la policía estatal y la municipal están trabajando en coordinación el asunto de seguridad de Fajardo. El alcalde cuenta con nuestro compromiso de facilitarle los recursos necesarios para atender esa situación”, expresó el gobernador.

El encuentro ocurrió durante la reunión taller que celebró el gobernador junto a las agencias de gobierno para darle seguimiento al cumplimiento de su plan de gobierno y afinar los métodos de implementación.
