Gobernador Rosselló Nevares depone en audiencia de Comité de Recursos Naturales de la Cámara federal

(1 de mayo de 2019 – La Fortaleza, San Juan) El gobernador Ricardo Rosselló Nevares viajó esta tarde a Washington, DC, para participar de una audiencia del Comité de Recursos Naturales de la Cámara de Representantes de los Estados Unidos.

El primer ejecutivo depondrá en la audiencia que llevará a cabo el Comité con el fin de repasar las acciones tomadas a unos tres años de la aprobación de la Ley federal Promesa. La directora ejecutiva de la Junta de Supervisión Fiscal, Natalie Jaresko, también participará de la audiencia.

Luego, el primer ejecutivo se trasladará a la ciudad de Chicago en Illinois para participar como orador invitado de la Cumbre de Política Nacional que llevará a cabo la Federación Americana para la Niñez (AFC, por sus siglas en inglés).

Rosselló Nevares recibirá el premio American Federation for Children Policymaker of the Year de 2019 durante el evento. Se informó que la secretaria del Departamento de Educación federal, Betsy DeVos, estará presente en la cumbre.

El secretario del Departamento de Estado, Luis G. Rivera Marín, fungirá como gobernador interino hasta el regreso del primer ejecutivo el viernes 3 de mayo en la tarde.
