Gobernador Rosselló Nevares se presenta ante líderes globales de infraestructura

(4 de noviembre de 2018 – La Fortaleza, San Juan) El gobernador Ricardo Roselló Nevares viajó esta tarde a la ciudad de Toronto, Canadá, para formar parte de la vigésima sexta conferencia anual del Concilio Canadiense para Alianzas Público-Privadas (CCPPP, por sus siglas en inglés).

El primer mandatario, que participará en el evento como orador invitado, expondrá los esfuerzos del Gobierno local con el sector privado para renovar la economía de Puerto Rico y hablará sobre el proceso de reconstrucción de la Isla luego del paso del huracán María.

La conferencia P3 2018 de la CCPPP es uno de los eventos principales a nivel mundial sobre alianzas público-privadas y atrae a unos 1,200 líderes de la infraestructura en los sectores público y privado de Canadá y el exterior.

El martes, el primer mandatario viajará a la ciudad de Nueva York donde acompañará al gobernador Andrew Cuomo durante el día de las elecciones de medio término en los Estados Unidos.

Esta segunda parte del viaje no será costeada con fondos públicos.

El secretario de Estado, Luis G. Rivera Marín, fungirá como gobernador interino hasta el regreso del gobernador el miércoles 7 de noviembre.
