Declaraciones autorizadas del secretario de Asuntos Públicos y Política Pública, Ramón Rosario Cortés:

(5 de junio de 2018 – La Fortaleza, San Juan) “El Gobierno de Puerto Rico cumplió con lo que dispone expresamente la Ley del Registro Demográfico de Puerto Rico. No obstante, ya un Tribunal determinó que tanto el CPI como CNN son parte interesada. La Ley del Registro Demográfico es clara en que una orden del Tribunal puede convertir a una parte en parte interesada más allá de los requisitos que establece la Ley, que es lo que ocurrió en este caso. Nuestra política, a petición del gobernador Ricardo Rosselló Nevares, es trabajar con estricta transparencia y facilitar el acceso a toda la información pública, por lo que estaremos cumpliendo con lo ordenado recientemente por el tribunal”.
