Declaración autorizada del gobernador de Puerto Rico, Ricardo Rosselló Nevares:

"Ante la vacante en la dirección ejecutiva de la Autoridad de Energía Eléctrica (AEE), le estoy recomendando a su Junta de Gobierno la designación del ingeniero Justo González como director interino de la corporación pública. Con esta designación dará inicio un proceso de evaluación del mejor talento disponible, dentro y fuera de Puerto Rico, para proceder con un nombramiento en propiedad al cargo de director ejecutivo de la AEE. Confío que este proceso culmine lo más rápido posible, a los fines de que no se afecten los trabajos conducentes a la rehabilitación del sistema eléctrico en toda la Isla, conforme a las directrices que hemos impartido".
