La Fortaleza informa que el gobernador no renominará a la procuradora de la mujer

(6 de julio de 2017 - San Juan) El secretario de Asuntos Públicos y Política Pública, Ramón Rosario Cortés, informó hoy que "en respuesta a una solicitud de la designada procuradora de las mujeres, Ileana Aymat, el gobernador Ricardo Rosselló Nevares desistirá de presentar nuevamente su nombramiento. La designada prefirió no pasar nuevamente por un proceso de confirmación".

"El gobernador agradece el excelente trabajo realizado por la señora Aymat mientras se desempeñó como procuradora y le desea el mayor de los éxitos. El gobernador reconoce la gran aportación de la señora Aymat desde el tercer sector y en el Gobierno en beneficio de las mujeres y está seguro que esta seguirá aportando a las causas en las que cree. El gobernador seguirá contando con su apoyo y ayuda para mejorar a Puerto Rico", sostuvo el secretario Rosario Cortés.
