Estudiantes de Rio Grande participan en Conversatorio de Vida

2 de marzo de 2016 - La Fortaleza - Estudiantes y maestros de la Escuela Pedro Falú Orellano en Rio Grande participaron hoy en el Conversatorio de Vida que organiza la Oficina de la Primera Dama en La Fortaleza.

Los alumnos visitaron el Palacio de Santa Catalina, donde además de recibir el taller y orientación por parte del ex baloncelista del equipo nacional Axel Calderón, dialogaron de cerca con la primera dama, Wilma Pastrana Jiménez, y recibieron un recorrido guiado a través de la histórica mansión ejecutiva.

“Para nosotros es muy importante que todos y cada uno de nuestros jóvenes estén conscientes de su rol activo en nuestra sociedad. Puerto Rico necesita de sus talentos y capacidades para continuar creciendo como país y por eso confiamos en que nuestra juventud tiene las herramientas necesarias para desarrollarse, trazarse metas, luchar por ellas y alcanzarlas sea cual sea”, sostuvo Pastrana Jiménez al dirigirse ante el estudiantado.

Los Conversatorios de Vida le ofrecen una experiencia de acercamiento y diálogo a los estudiantes de escuela superior junto al gobernador y la primera dama.

En cada conversatorio se discuten a fondo temas como la planificación del futuro y una carrera profesional, el fortalecimiento de la autoestima, las relaciones familiares y se fomenta el trabajo en equipo. Ya suman unos 18 conversatorios realizados en La Fortaleza.
