Se reafirma el gobernador Rosselló Nevares en su defensa de Puerto Rico

(25 de junio de 2017 –La Fortaleza) El gobernador Ricardo Rosselló Nevares se
reafirmó en que la Sección 205 de la Ley federal PROMESA, le otorga la
discreción al Gobierno de Puerto Rico de adoptar o no las recomendaciones que
presente la Junta de Supervisión Fiscal (JSF).
A esos efectos, el primer ejecutivo reiteró que su Administración no adoptará
medidas de reducción de jornada laboral y la eliminación del Bono de Navidad,
ya que el Gobierno de Puerto Rico está cumpliendo con lo dispuesto en el Plan
Fiscal certificado por la propia JSF.
El gobernador Rosselló Nevares reaccionó además a declaraciones del
presidente de la JSF, José Carrión III, quien catalogó el organismo que dirige
como uno "impuesto y antidemocrático".
"Resulta lamentable que un puertorriqueño acepte dirigir una Junta que a
conciencia considere sea antidemocrática, y peor aún, una imposición a Puerto
Rico. Reconocer eso y participar de dicho organismo, contribuye a extender la
crisis colonial en nuestra Isla", concluyó el gobernador de Puerto Rico.
