La Fortaleza se ilumina de rojo en apoyo a la lucha contra el SIDA

3 de diciembre de 2016 - La Fortaleza - En conmemoración del Día Mundial de Alerta Contra el SIDA, celebrado el 1 de diciembre, el área de las torres de La Fortaleza ubicada sobre la Muralla hacia la Bahía del Viejo San Juan, ha sido iluminada de rojo.

Esta fecha fue establecida por la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) con el fin de llamar la atención y educar respecto a esta enfermedad. Aprovechando el valor e importancia de la Mansión Ejecutiva para todos los puertorriqueños, la estructura permanecerá iluminada hasta el 12 de diciembre de 2016 en representación simbólica de la lucha contra el SIDA.

De esta manera, el gobernador Alejandro García Padilla y la primera dama, Wilma Pastrana Jiménez, se unen en apoyo y solidaridad a las personas que viven con VIH, sus familiares y amigos, mientras a la vez promueven la prevención de esta enfermedad en la sociedad puertorriqueña.
