Inaugura en Caguas exhibición educativa para estudiantes del país

12 de agosto de 2014 - Caguas - El Municipio Autónomo de Caguas celebró la apertura de la exhibición permanente del nuevo Centro Criollo de Ciencias y Tecnología del Caribe (C3tec), titulada "Nuestros cuerpos, nuestra isla, nuestro planeta".

A la actividad acudió la primera dama, Wilma Pastrana Jiménez, quien formó parte de la inauguración junto al alcalde William Miranda Torres, personal directivo de la entidad educativa, miembros de la legislatura y estudiantes de la comunidad.

El C3tec, ubicado en el centro del casco urbano de Caguas, fue concebido por el fenecido alcalde William Miranda Marín hace una década como un centro interactivo, y busca fomentar en niños y jóvenes el gusto por la ciencia, tecnología, la ingeniería, las matemáticas y también el arte.

"Estoy segura que ese sueño que tuvo nuestro alcalde, y que hoy vemos realizarse, cobra un significado mayor porque se completa y se hace realidad para el beneficio de nuestra gente, de nuestros estudiantes y de muchos otros visitantes que ya comienzan a llegar desde el extranjero. También cobra un especial valor en el corazón de nuestros queridos ciudadanos cagüeños, porque este lugar representa otra muestra más de lo que podemos hacer juntos para renovarnos y conquistar nuevas metas como país", expresó Pastrana Jiménez durante la apertura.

La nueva exhibición interactiva que ocupa gran parte del primer nivel del C3tec consta de 33 divertidas estaciones de juegos educativos y tecnológicos. Para información adicional sobre la exhibición y otros servicios disponibles en el C3tec puede comunicarse al (787) 653-6391.
