Gobierno lamenta la pérdida de la comisionada de Instituciones Financieras

(6 de julio de 2017 - San Juan) El gobernador interino, Luis Gerardo Rivera Marín, lamentó la pérdida de la comisionada de la Oficina del Comisionado de Instituciones Financieras (OCIF), Ivelisse Colón Berríos.

"Hoy lamentamos la pérdida de la compañera Ivelisse Colón Berríos. La comisionada de Instituciones Financieras fue una excelente servidora pública, que jamás dejó de servir al pueblo de Puerto Rico, a pesar de su padecimiento de cáncer", expresó Rivera Marín, al declarar un día de duelo.

"A nombre del gobernador Ricardo Rosselló Nevares y de toda su administración, expreso mi más sentido pésame a los hijos de la comisionada y a toda su familia", añadió Rivera Marín.

Ivelisse Colón Berríos comenzó en OCIF en el año 2000 como examinadora. Se destacó en diversas áreas en la oficina: fue auditora, educadora, comisionada auxiliar y fundó la Escuela de Orientación Financiera en OCIF.

Ivelisse Colón Berrios perdió su lucha contra el cáncer a los 46 años.
