Gobernador solicita renuncia de Alcalde de Río Grande

El gobernador interino David Bernier autoriza las siguientes expresiones en respuesta al arresto y acusación del alcalde de Río Grande, Eduard Rivera Correa. 

“Al conocer los detalles que acompañan la acusación en contra del alcalde Eduard Rivera Correa, le hacemos un llamado a que renuncie a su cargo inmediatamente. Estamos convencidos que esto es lo que procede y lo más correcto. Al mismo tiempo le solicitamos al secretario de Justicia, César Miranda que proceda con la mayor diligencia posible con los trámites necesarios para solicitar la suspensión del alcalde, según lo dispuesto en la Ley del Fiscal Especial Independiente.”
