Gobernador Rosselló Nevares se reúne en La Fortaleza con el gobernador de Connecticut

(24 de abril de 2017 –La Fortaleza) El gobernador Ricardo Rosselló Nevares se reunió con el gobernador de Connecticut, Dannel Malloy, para conversar sobre el precipicio fiscal que enfrenta Puerto Rico en la asignación de fondos federales destinados a salud y los retos fiscales que enfrenta la Isla.

Malloy, presidente de la Asociación Nacional de Gobernadores Demócratas, funge desde 2011 como gobernador de Connecticut y tiene vasta experiencia en temas de desarrollo económico.

El también exalcalde de Stamford que habló además con Rosselló Nevares sobre su experiencia para lograr una mejor obtención de fondos federales para la rehabilitación de cascos urbanos y el desarrollo económico de estos.

“Agradezco la visita del gobernador Malloy a La Fortaleza. Sin duda, Malloy es uno de los aliados que tiene Puerto Rico en los temas de paridad en los fondos de salud", sostuvo el primer mandatario.

Esta es la primera vez que Malloy visita La Fortaleza desde que Rosselló Nevares fue electo.
