Gobernador Rosselló Nevares se reúne con importante líder sindical en la capital federal

(26 de abril de 2017- Washington, DC) El gobernador Ricardo Rosselló Nevares se reunió con el presidente de la Federación de Empleados de Gobiernos Estatales (AFCSME), Lee Saunders para escuchar sus comentarios y sugerencias sobre las medidas fiscales que tiene que tomar el Gobierno para cumplir con el Plan Fiscal certificado por la Junta de Supervisión Fiscal.

Durante el cónclave, en el que asistieron además Elías Sánchez, representante del gobernador ante la Junta de Supervisión Fiscal; y el director ejecutivo de la Administración de Asuntos Federales de Puerto Rico en Washington, Carlos Mercader; Saunders destacó que la situación de Puerto Rico es más complicada que la que enfrentó Detroit, pero solicitó espacio para dialogar sobre las medidas fiscales.

En Puerto Rico, Servidores Públicos Unidos (SPU) está afiliada a la AFCSME. La presidenta de SPU, Annette González Pérez, ha sostenido reuniones con el secretario de la Gobernación, William Villafañe.

El primer ejecutivo informó que el secretario de la Gobernación tiene pautadas otras reuniones con la presidenta del SPU.
