Gobernador Rosselló Nevares decreta 30 días de duelo ante el fallecimiento del exgobernador Rafael Hernández Colón

(2 de mayo de 2019 – Washington, DC) El gobernador Ricardo Rosselló Nevares decretó 30 días de duelo ante el fallecimiento del exgobernador de Puerto Rico Rafael Hernández Colón.

“Beatriz y yo enviamos nuestro más sentido pésame y nuestras expresiones de solidaridad a la familia del exgobernador Rafael Hernández Colón. Su servicio y dedicación en favor del Pueblo de Puerto Rico quedarán como huella imborrable en la memoria de todos los puertorriqueños”, sostuvo el primer ejecutivo.

Hernández Colón fungió durante tres términos como gobernador de la Isla bajo el Partido Popular Democrático; además de destacarse como presidente del Senado y secretario de Justicia y ser uno de los líderes de mayor influencia dentro de su partido.

Rosselló Nevares informó, además, que alteró su agenda para regresar a Puerto Rico esta noche, a fin de participar del funeral de Estado.

Las banderas ondearán a media asta a partir de hoy y hasta el 31 de mayo.
