Gobernador Rosselló Nevares conversa con esposa del venezolano Leopoldo López

(27 de junio de 2017 –Washington, D.C) El gobernador de Puerto Rico, Ricardo Rosselló Nevares, conversó vía telefónica con la activista venezolana Lilian Tintori de López y se comprometió a colaborar en alianzas con líderes demócratas del continente en pro de la defensa de los derechos fundamentales de los venezolanos, frente a la crisis política y económica que vive el país suramericano.

La comunicación surgió precisamente luego que Tintori de López denunció que desde hace 23 días no ha visto a su esposo Leopoldo López y hace 82 días sus abogados no tienen contacto con el preso político venezolano.

“Mi solidaridad con la familia de Leopoldo López y el pueblo venezolano que ha tenido que enfrentar en los últimos tiempos una escasez de comida y medicinas. Nuestro llamado a que se haga valer la democracia en Venezuela. Los venezolanos pueden contar siempre con Puerto Rico como su aliado en este reclamo”, sostuvo el primer ejecutivo puertorriqueño.

El gobernador se ha unido al reclamo de líderes estadounidenses como el senador estadounidense Marco Rubio (R-Florida) por la estabilización de la democracia en Venezuela.
