Gobernador Rosselló Nevares anuncia envío de $66 millones adicionales en reintegros

(26 de abril de 2018 – Atlanta, Georgia) Coincidiendo con el cierre del periodo contributivo 2017, el gobernador Ricardo Rosselló Nevares anunció el envío de $66 millones adicionales en reintegros, correspondientes a 91 mil planillas.

“Al momento hemos pagado $262 millones en reintegros correspondientes al año 2017. De ese total, aproximadamente $234 millones fueron reintegros de individuos y otros $28 millones se pagaron a 112 mil planillas del Crédito Compensatorio para Pensionados de Bajos Recursos y al Crédito para Personas de 65 o más”, explicó el primer ejecutivo.

Mientras, el secretario del Departamento de Hacienda, Raúl Maldonado Gautier, informó que se han recibido 821,709 planillas por medio electrónico, de las cuales ya se han reintegrado 331,000.

El titular de Hacienda expresó que “hemos sobrepasado la meta que habíamos proyectado y agradezco a los contribuyentes su compromiso con Puerto Rico. Le recuerdo a todos los que radicaron en marzo que recibirán su reintegro antes de que termine el mes de mayo”.

Asimismo, Maldonado Gautier reiteró que “nuestro objetivo es pagar la totalidad de los reintegros de las planillas —que se radiquen a tiempo y que no tengan errores matemáticos— en o antes del 30 de junio”.
