Gobernador Rosselló Nevares acompaña a Iván Rodríguez en ceremonia de exaltación al Salón de la Fama

(29 de julio de 2017 – La Fortaleza, San Juan) El gobernador Ricardo Rosselló Nevares viajó esta mañana a Cooperstown, Nueva York para acompañar al exreceptor de las Ligas Mayores, Iván Rodríguez, durante la Ceremonia de exaltación al Salón de la Fama.

El beisbolista vegabajeño es el cuarto puertorriqueño en ingresar al Salón de la Fama.

En días recientes, Rodríguez fue nombrado por el gobernador como parte de la Comisión para la Igualdad para Puerto Rico, que tendrá la responsabilidad de exigir en el Congreso trato igual para los ciudadanos americanos residentes en Puerto Rico.

El secretario de Estado, Luis G. Rivera Marín, será gobernador interino hasta el lunes cuando regresa el primer ejecutivo a la Isla.
