Gobernador recibirá a Reyes de España en Puerto Rico

 

10 de marzo de 2016 – La Fortaleza – El gobernador Alejandro García Padilla recibirá en Puerto Rico la próxima semana a los reyes de España, el Rey Don Felipe VI y la Reina Doña Letizia, en el marco de la celebración del VII Congreso Internacional de la Lengua Española (CILE).

Los monarcas participarán de la sesión inaugural de CILE, que se llevará a cabo el próximo 15 de marzo, junto a García Padilla y la primera dama, Wilma Pastrana Jiménez. El primer ejecutivo mostró su satisfacción ante la visita de los reyes y aseguró que simboliza el vínculo que existe entre ambos países.

“Para mí es un honor que Puerto Rico pueda recibir a los reyes de España en el marco de este Congreso de gran relevancia para los hispanoparlantes. Su visita a nuestro país simboliza la unión inquebrantable de nuestros pueblos y de todos los hermanos latinoamericanos que compartimos con España una cultura, una lengua y una historia”, expresó García Padilla.

Durante el Congreso se reunirán más de 150 expertos en el tema de la lengua y se le rendirá tributo a tres figuras  prominentes que la han cultivado y enriquecido, estos son: Miguel de Cervantes, Luis Pales Matos, el Inca Garcilaso de la Vega y Rubén Darío.
