Gobernador convoca a sesión extraordinaria para atender la situación de la Autoridad de Carreteras y Transportación

La Fortaleza – El gobernador Alejandro García Padilla, a través de una Orden Ejecutiva, convocó hoy a la asamblea legislativa a una sesión extraordinaria, que comenzará el lunes, 24 de noviembre a las 11:00 a.m. Esta acción por parte del ejecutivo responde a la necesidad de garantizar la solvencia de la Autoridad de Carreteras y Transportación y aprobar legislación que viabilice la disponibilidad de fondos para la realización de obras y mejoras públicas, como carreteras y autopistas, en todo el país.

Según la Constitución del Estado Libre Asociado de Puerto Rico, la sesión no podrá extenderse por más de 20 días naturales.
