Expresiones del gobernador en respuesta a la decisión del Tribunal Supremo de los Estados Unidos

El gobernador Alejandro García Padilla autoriza las siguientes expresiones en respuesta a la reciente decisión del Tribunal Supremo de los Estados Unidos: 

"Hoy la Corte Suprema de los Estados Unidos reafirmó que el Congreso no puede legislar para discriminar contra derechos reconocidos a los ciudadanos mediante legislación estatal. Reconocemos que este es uno de esos momentos en la historia donde la democracia permite la ampliación y el florecimiento de los derechos y las libertades de las personas."  

"Today the Supreme Court of the United States reaffirmed that Congress cannot legislate on measures that discriminate against citizens otherwise recognized by local state laws. This is an important milestone in history where our democracy allows the rights and freedoms of our citizens to grow and flourish."
