Declaraciones autorizadas del gobernador de Puerto Rico, Ricardo Rosselló Nevares:

(13 de noviembre de 2017 - Washington, DC) “Estamos muy complacidos con la decisión emitida hoy por la jueza Laura Taylor Swain debido a que reitera nuestra posición sobre el límite de poder que tiene la Junta de Supervisión Fiscal. Hemos sido claros desde el primer día en cuanto a los poderes que tiene la Junta y los que no posee. Queda claro que la Junta de Supervisión Fiscal no tiene el poder de tomar control del Gobierno en pleno ni sus instrumentalidades. Nuestra posición queda validada y se reconoce que la administración y la gestión pública de Puerto Rico permanece con el gobierno democráticamente electo. Como gobernador de Puerto Rico defenderé los derechos democráticos de mi Pueblo por encima de cualquier reto y en cualquier foro. Reconocemos que la reconstrucción y recuperación de la Isla requiere unión de voluntades, por lo tanto, damos la bienvenida a cualquier colaboración o apoyo técnico que la Junta quiera brindar al Gobierno electo por los puertorriqueños para asegurar los mejores intereses del Pueblo de Puerto Rico”.
