Beatriz Rosselló anuncia acuerdo colaborativo de Fortaleza Para Ti para remodelar área recreativa de Santurce

(9 de abril de 2019 – San Juan) La primera dama Beatriz Rosselló anunció un acuerdo colaborativo entre el Departamento de Transportación y Obras Públicas (DTOP) y la Asociación de Comerciantes de la Placita de Santurce para dar mantenimiento y reforzar la seguridad del área recreativa adyacente a la placita.

Dicho acuerdo, que forma parte de los esfuerzos del programa Fortaleza Para Ti, tendrá una vigencia de 5 años.

“A partir de hoy, los residentes de Santurce contarán con una cancha de baloncesto remodelada y áreas recreativas iluminadas, gracias a la Fundación de JJ Barea, Home Depot, Master Paint y el trabajo de nuestros servidores públicos”, sostuvo la primera dama.

Beatriz Rosselló agregó que “Fortaleza Para Ti actualmente colabora con agencias, el sector privado y organizaciones sin fines de lucro para desarrollar iniciativas que mejoren la experiencia de los residentes de Santurce”.

El secretario del DTOP, Carlos Contreras Aponte, junto al presidente de Asociación de Comerciantes de la Placita de Santurce, José Silva Collazo, formalizaron el acuerdo que establece además la adopción de una carretera estatal.

Contreras Aponte se mostró complacido de poder colaborar junto a los comerciantes de la Placita de Santurce y expresó que “nuestro Departamento cumplirá en mantener las instalaciones en óptimas condiciones, dando énfasis en la seguridad y las condiciones de las vías públicas contiguas a la placita”.

Contreras concluyó al añadir que “DTOP permitirá que la Asociación de Comerciantes adopte la propiedad que ubica en la calle Canals esquina Marginal Baldorioty de Castro”.
